Colorado vs TCU Recap

Colorado awesome with primetime leading his young men into battle against a tough TCU team.

The most entertaining college football matchup this weekend was TCU versus Colorado, and the Buffaloes performed awesome! In a down-to-the-wire finish, the Buffaloes defeated the Hornfrogs 45-42.

They were led to victory by their quarterback, and HBCU transfer Shedeur Sanders– son of head coach Deion Sanders.

Sanders led Colorado to Victory

Shedeur Sanders was in complete control of the Buff’s offense, while boasting a surgical 38 for 47 completion to pass attempts. He threw for a ridiculous 510-yards, and thus breaks the school record in his first game.

Most would agree that Sanders performance couldn’t be topped, but his teammate Travis Hunter had other ideas..

Hunter did what most only do up until high school ball, and that’s play both offense and defense. In fact Hunter played 144 snaps in 100 degree weather.

Did he play well?

He was outstanding!

After his two-way performance, primetime had this to say about Hunter.

“This kid is a first-rounder on both sides of the ball, like first pick,” Sanders said. “He is the first pick. That’s who he is. Travis is—and he loves the game. He does not tire of loving the game and wanting to be in the game and studying the game and all of the intricate details of the game.”

Deion Sanders interview with Sports Illustrated

Despite awesome performances by Sanders and Hunter, this game still came down to the wire. The Buff’s allowed 262 total rushing yards and didn’t stop TCU until the late interception by Hunter.

As the final minutes ticked away on the clock, and fans prepared to storm Folsom Field in Colorado after this monumental upset, one thing remained true— Colorado is here to stay and they look awesome with primetime coaching them!
