Ultimate Tight End Ranking Review

While other analysts are looking at last years production at this position; we decided to look forward. And the most glaring reality is that Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis are no longer in a Bills uniform. Their absence in Buffalo leads to 220 plus targets that have to go somewhere else..

Although it’s reasonable to believe that Josh Allen will spread the ball around to his receivers; nobody will stand-out like Kincaid. Remember the Bills spent first round (25th pick) draft capital on Dalton Kincaid, and shifted their offense late last season to start featuring him.

So before you spend a second round draft pick on Travis Kelce, do your best to look forward at the guy that has the best chance to become him.

After banging the drum for Dalton Kincaid, we move on to steady yearly players at the tight-end position in Travis Kelce (2) and George Kittle (3). Both of these players are set to return in great offenses built for high scoring and plenty of opportunity.

We expect each to finish within the top five at their position. Our only caution to the Fantasy Farm Sports faithful is to not draft Travis Kelce too high.

Ultimate Rankings Continued

Coming in at number four on our Ultimate Ranking of NFL Tight Ends for Fantasy Football 2024 list is Evan Engram. He is the number one target in the Jaguars offense, and Trevor Lawrence loves finding him across the middle. In fact he led the position in targets in 2023 with 143 of them, and we don’t see anything changing.

The only caveat with Engram is he doesn’t give you enough touchdowns. But his receptions, and sheer volume within a Jaguars offense that looks to feature this talent will offer more touchdown upside in 2024.

Evan Engram is a tight-end that plays like a wide receiver, so draft him like one!

We round out our top five with Trey McBride. And the best statistic we can give you for McBride is that his volume within the Cardinals offense is very close to what Sam LaPorta had last season in Detroit.

Our team of experts likes the value that McBride gives us in the sixth round in drafts as apposed to drafting Laporta in the second round. As long as McBride can capture a few more touchdowns from Kyler Murray, he’ll be a steal for your team in fantasy football this season.
